At the top of a mountain in the Rwenzori

I think the Rwenzori Mountains are close to being the most beautiful mountains I have seen. So many people live in small communities all over these mountains, eking out a living on steep mountain sides and walking for miles to collect water. There is a Compassion Project high in the mountains in a place called Kabatunda. There we met many children from the local region who either lived there and attended local schools or who were sponsored by Compassion. On the way up the steep, narrow and rutted track which clung to the side of the mountain we passed through the stunning village of Rwesande, where Neil and Helen lived in the home they built. It was a privilege to stay there for the night.
